These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TranslateWise's website located at translatewise.me and all related services provided by SYNAPSE SPARK STUDIO LTD ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. SERVICES PROVIDED
TranslateWise provides AI-powered translation services with optional human verification and editorial review. Our services include:
• AI Translation: Instant machine translation powered by Claude Sonnet-4
• Verification Service: AI translation reviewed by human experts
• Editorial Service: Full human translation by native speakers
• API Access: Developer tools for integrating our translation services
• Glossary Management: Custom terminology management tools
4. USER ACCOUNTS
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
5. PRICING AND PAYMENT
• All prices are displayed in EUR (€)
• Payment is processed through our secure payment provider Ecommpay
• Credits are purchased in advance and do not expire
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
• Apple Pay transactions are processed securely using Touch ID, Face ID, or passcode authentication
• Google Pay transactions use tokenized payment information for enhanced security
• Mobile wallet payments may be subject to additional verification by your device or wallet provider
• No minimum or maximum transaction limits apply
• You are responsible for ensuring your payment method has sufficient funds
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy
6. MOBILE WALLET PAYMENTS
When using Apple Pay or Google Pay:
• Transactions are processed in accordance with Apple's or Google's respective terms
• Your payment information is tokenized and not stored on our servers
• You must have a compatible device and active payment method in your wallet
• Transaction authentication is performed by your device (Touch ID, Face ID, fingerprint, etc.)
• Failed transactions may be retried using alternative payment methods
• Apple and Google are not parties to your agreement with TranslateWise
• For wallet-specific issues, contact Apple or Google support directly
• We reserve the right to decline mobile wallet payments at our discretion
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
• You retain all rights to your original content
• Translations created become your property upon payment
• Our service, logo, and branding remain our exclusive property
• You grant us a license to process your content for translation purposes
• You warrant that you have the right to translate submitted content
8. PROHIBITED USES
You may not use our service to:
• Translate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malware or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Resell our services without authorization
• Use automated systems to abuse our service
9. DATA PROTECTION
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR. We:
• Process data lawfully and transparently
• Use encryption to protect your content
• Do not sell your personal data
• Delete translation data after 90 days unless requested otherwise
• Allow you to request data deletion at any time
10. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee:
• Perfect translation accuracy
• Suitability for specific purposes
• Uninterrupted service availability
• Error-free operation
For critical translations, we recommend our Editorial Service with human review.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TranslateWise shall not be liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount paid for the specific service
• Issues arising from third-party services or content
• Force majeure events
12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold TranslateWise harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your infringement of any rights of another party
• Content you submit for translation
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• We encourage resolution through direct communication
• Disputes shall be governed by UK law
• You retain the right to dispute card transactions with your issuer
• For Apple Pay disputes, contact your card issuer through your Wallet app or bank
• For Google Pay disputes, use the dispute process in your Google Pay app or contact your card issuer
• Legal proceedings shall be in courts of England and Wales
• We support alternative dispute resolution where appropriate
14. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending email notifications for significant changes
• Displaying prominent notices on our website
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
