PAYMENT TERMS
This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions for all financial transactions with SYNAPSE SPARK STUDIO LTD. By using our services, you agree to these payment terms.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
We accept the following payment methods:
• Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard
• Debit Cards: Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit
• Digital Wallets: Coming soon
All payments are processed securely through Ecommpay, our PCI-compliant payment processor.
PRICING AND CURRENCY
• All prices displayed in EUR (€)
• Prices include applicable VAT for EU customers
• Non-EU customers exempt from VAT
• Currency conversion handled by your payment provider
• Important: Your bank may charge additional fees for currency conversion. TranslateWise is not responsible for these fees.
• Exchange rate fluctuations are customer responsibility
CREDIT SYSTEM
TranslateWise operates on a pre-paid credit system:
• Credits purchased in advance of service use
• 1 credit = 1 word for AI translation
• Different rates for Verification and Editorial services
• Credits never expire
• Bulk discounts available for large purchases
• Minimum purchase: 1,000 credits (€5)
PAYMENT PROCESSING
Transaction Process:
1. Select credit package or subscription
2. Enter payment information
3. Review and confirm order
4. Secure processing via Ecommpay
5. Instant credit delivery upon approval
6. Email receipt sent immediately
Security Measures:
• 256-bit SSL encryption
• PCI DSS compliance
• 3D Secure authentication
• No storage of card details on our servers
BILLING AND INVOICING
• Electronic invoices issued for all transactions
• VAT invoices available for EU businesses
• Invoices accessible in user dashboard
• Monthly statements for active accounts
• Custom billing available for enterprise
Invoice Information Includes:
• Transaction date and ID
• Service description
• Amount and VAT breakdown
• Company registration details
SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS
For subscription plans:
• Billed monthly or annually in advance
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime, effective at period end
• No partial month refunds
• Price changes notified 30 days in advance
• Failed payments result in service suspension
PAYMENT FAILURES
If a payment fails:
• Immediate notification sent
• 24-hour grace period for resolution
• Service continues during grace period
• After 24 hours, service may be suspended
• Account reactivated upon successful payment
• Multiple failures may result in account review
TAXES AND FEES
VAT/Sales Tax:
• EU customers: VAT included in prices
• Business customers: Provide VAT ID for exemption
• Non-EU: No VAT charged
• Customer responsible for local taxes
Additional Fees:
• No hidden fees or surcharges
• Currency conversion fees by your bank
• Chargeback fees may apply for disputes
DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
Before initiating a chargeback:
• Contact our support team first
• Most issues resolved within 48 hours
• Chargebacks harm both parties
• May result in account suspension
• We reserve right to dispute chargebacks
• Legal action for fraudulent chargebacks
